A Church With An Assignment

Welcome to God's Kingdom Builders Church of Jesus Christ!

We have consciously decided to get back to the foundation of the church, which is to love Jesus Christ.  In our love for Jesus Christ, we have discovered that there is liberty in Christ; a freedom, which can allow peace in even the toughest storm. 

Ironically, in a generation where churches have become what was warned against in 1 Timothy 6:3-11 (Paul warned that we should stay away from people who preach “gain is godliness” or, in layman’s terms, “the more material things you have, the more blessed you are”), there is a church that teaches the pure unadulterated word of God, unto salvation .  There is a church that is re-establishing the standard of Jesus Christ; where young men and women practice celibacy (not to be confused with abstinence) in a generation where sexual immorality is running rampant.  God has developed a church where his saints will place no other gods before him.  He has placed in the hearts of the members at GKB a sense of selflessness and servitude, ensuring that the needs of others are met in an effort to see them saved.  God’s Kingdom Builders Church of Jesus Christ is committed to serving Jesus, whole heartedly, all the way to judgment.

Certainly, we believe in God’s promise that he would send power to his people (Acts 1:8), and that he will pour out his spirit upon all flesh (Joel 2:28-29).  We don’t take our commission to snatch back the souls of man lightly.  It is not by coincidence that the people who once entered our doors as hardened sinners, left out as free worshippers of the most high God.   No longer will we sit and watch the devil steal the souls of our loved ones, while the power to heal the sick is within our reach (Mark 16:17-18).  We’re not asking for anything from the devil!  We’re snatching it back by the authority of the name of Jesus Christ!

No, this is not your ordinary church.  This is the church that was spoken of in the book of acts.  A church not constrained to the four walls of the building, but one that is mobile and agile in order to spread the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.  We will do the assignment of Christ, even as the apostles and disciples did, despite the looming circumstances.  We are not radical. We just realize that there is not too much that Jesus can ask of us, considering the price He paid for our sins; even if that makes us uncomfortable at times.

As you browse our website, know that it is not our intent to condemn anyone.  Our true desire is to see as many people saved as possible.  However, we are not willing to compromise the word of God just to get members or an offering.  We don’t desire fame or fortune, massive cathedrals or a huge television contract.  If Jesus can’t receive full glory for it, GKB does not want to be involved! Our assignment is a difficult one, but Jesus even said, “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few” (Matthew 9:37).
